Protected by the beauty and intimacy of a historic medieval area, the alley of St. Clare, tourist apartments The sun and moon are offered to the gaze of those who want to enjoy the serenity of a peaceful landscape of the Marches. The owner; inspired by the song of the creatures created with taste and simplicity environments by providing them a specific identity, linked to elements of the universe that St. Francis loved the sun and moon.


    The apartment consists of a sun room with double bed and sofa bed fully furnished and equipped with a living room fully furnished with cooker and fridge. The bathroom is equipped with shower.
    The apartment of the moon is composed of a double bedroom, one-bedroom (loft) in which there are two single beds, a living room with kitchenette including oven and fridge. A bathroom equipped with shower and a terrace of 12 sqm chw overlooking the Piazza Matteotti.

        The apartments are situated in the heart of Sassoferrato ancient castle district, where they intersect and meander the prettiest and most picturesque streets of our Middle Ages. The church of Santa Chiara, with its monastery, adjacent to our apartments, offers the visitor a Nativity attributed to Antonio da Pesaro, a fresco of the Umbrian school, and two of the most beautiful Madonnas of Salvi. A short walk in the Palazzo dei Priori, visit the interesting museum Sentinum. Two more steps and we have the Albornoz fortress (XIV century) immersed in the green lime trees and horse chestnuts, where you can admire the sweeping view of Sassoferrato with an imposing mountain range. Go along via D. Minzoni, palaces and charming views for architecture and landscape, and before rising in all its glory for the white stone of the façade, the Gothic church of San Francesco (XIII century). From the Castle, founded by the counts from nearby Genga Instruments in 1150 or so, we descend into the lower part of Sassoferrato called Borgo whose periphery, in the archaeological area, are preserved ruins of the ancient Umbrian settlement splendid Roman Sentinum. The city, surrounded by nature, has within it other areas as the area of Via Cappuccini, the Park of Remembrance, Holy Cross and the area of the Sports Palace that tourists can stroll and visit health areas of particular interest using a dense network of trails.
