Garden, forest, training room, children's pool, terrace, chapel and secure parking in private courtyard. We offer massage and reflexology, and courses in Hatha Yoga, Ceramics and Drawing from life. The area is great for competitive cycling, walking and 'trekking' or Tired of Riding Center Underneath is the 'Pegasus' if one wants to see the countryside on horseback. There are three double bedrooms in main house and three apartments for tourist use in the barns. 6Stanco is situated 10km from the exit 'Rioveggio' of the A1 and 40km from the center of Bologna.
The B&B there are three double bedrooms, each with private bathroom with window and 'flat screen' TV satellite. In nice weather, breakfast is served on the terrace under the vines. The air conditioning is not needed since we are at 600m above sea level and you always sleep well at peace with clean air and fresh. One of the three apartments has two bedrooms and can accommodate up to 6 people. The other two mini-apartments in the barn, are double height with a sleeping loft, ideal for three people but can accommodate families of five people.
The B&B offer breakfast but the apartments are self-employed with the kitchen. There are two restaurants, typically Bolognesi, 'In Castagneto' and 'La Prada' at about 1 km from 6Stanco in both directions, just outside the village. Need the car to see the area better, but if one arrives by train to Grizzana,
(line Bologna-Florence-Prato) can shuttle service when there is a connection with public bus.
Beautiful landscape of low mountains. Tired faces south and you see 'Corno alle Scale' and 'Cimon' west. We are at the southern border of the Regional Historical Park of Monte Sole and near Montovolo, with the sanctuary on top. To get there you pass the medieval village, well-preserved 'La Scola'. Further is Porretta Terme to take the waters, then the park lakes and Suviana Brasimone. Grizzana hosting the 'House Museum' of the painter Giorgio Morandi, where is his 'summer workshops' but his works are exhibited in Bologna. From May to September, the area hosts many festivals and celebrations like, truffle, porcini, chestnuts, tigelle, wine, crafts antique, medieval and 'bingo'
